Projects

I worked for two and a half years as a web application designer and developer in a company in Argentina dedicated to the development of such applications. I have been involved in the development of e-commerce and e-government applications, as well as web applications for intranets. I have developed several PHP/MySQL based applications and Java-based web applications for intranets in several domains.

Comparison of Multi-agent systems. JACK vs 3APL

JACK is a platform for building, running and integrating multi-agent systems using a component-based approach. It provides tools required to develop autonomous intelligent agent systems that are both goal-directed and reactive. The platform is based on the JACK Agent Language, a programming language that extends Java (both semantically and syntactically) with agent-oriented concepts. It is a mature and robust commercial product. This paper describes the design and concepts behind JACK. We also compare JACK to the 3APL platform. This work has been presented in a student workshop at UNL, on January 12, 2006. The paper is available here.

A Platform for Generating and Processing HTML Input Forms

A server for generating, storing and filling web forms has been implemented. The forms are defined by specifying the expected data model using XML Schema, and the HTML forms are generated automatically. The form data is stored in the native XML database as XML that conforms to the originating form schema. The paper is available here.

Design and implementation of a web content managment system to administrate the company's products and services. Due to the fact that this is a local (intranet) web application you can not access the system from here.

With a group of colleagues we have designed and implementated the Faculty of Economy and Administration's online magazine, at the National University of Comahue.
